Mark Robert Michael Wahlberg was born on June 5, 1971 in Dorchester, MA. Marky Mark, as he now hates to be called, gets first prize for using his pec-talent to make it big in the world of music, modelling and even in Hollywood! Mark, who dropped out of high school, did various jobs (including working as a bricklayer) and was convicted of several minor felonies before joining New Kids on the Block with brother Donnie. He then went solo and recorded two albums and toured as Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch.
